Actually, what I was looking for was was functionality that would allow the Advocacy Alert creator to post updates about the action -- they could take the form of a few sentences about the campaign, or a update on the number of signers.
For example:
"Hey folks -- we just heard that 3 more Council Members signed on the bill! This wouldn't have been possible without your support! Already signed this petition? Forward to your friends and share it with your networks!"
We might be able to do this with our new reporting tools coming out next year. I'm going to keep my eye on this one to look at after we implement the new data store and visualization tools coming out next year.
But... now that you mention it, the data elements I'd love to see are:
* # signers
* recent signer info (first name, City, State)
* some measure of the velocity/acceleration of new signers with in certain time frame, This could inform the display of "hot" or "trending" actions.
