This "Send Copy to Sender" eCard function sends a copy of the eCard immediately (upon creation), regardless of when the send date to the recipient is. This is not really helpful for the donor and does not give them comfort that the email will actually be sent to the recipient on the requested date. Nor does it notify them if/when it is sent. In fact, it may only serve to make the donor concerned that their email to the recipient was sent immediately, rather than on the date they requested.

This function should be amended OR a different 'notification of send' function should be provided for donors.
