Default recurring gift option on Standard Donation Form
Based on Blackbaud's best practices for increasing sustaining donors, Luminate Online should allow for the recurring gift option radio button on donation forms to be checked by default -- so that the donor has to manually uncheck that recurring gift option if they want to make a one-time gift. Every other platform seems to have this as an option but LO doesn't. The flexible sustaining donor configuration isn't an acceptable backup option as it mandates the donor setting the frequency of the donation and adds too much data to the form. Please, please, please update this in the LO platform in order to follow Blackbaud's own best practices and suggestions.

Hi Rachel, thanks for your feedback. I know there are work around for this in Luminate Online where you lead with one donation form (levels set to be recurring) and then link to another donation form configured for one-time if the user would rather give that way. This is not ideal for sure so I've forwarded this idea to my user experience designer to see how we can incorporate it into the frequency options of the next gen donation forms we are currently building.
