Develop a way to assign default interest groups to new records.

Upon the creation of new records, especially via manual imports, it'd be idea if there were a way to set default interest groups? We do a lot of third party acquisition and none of the current solutions is ideal--they add a lot of time and work, and we like to have our members already opted in to default groups so they can easily opt out of them and we can ensure we're only sending them the communications they want from us.
