This has caused a major problem for us because we did not know that the email type in LO must be the same name in RE. Most of our constituents use more than one email type. In RE we name them email, email business, email spouse, email 2 etc. So when someone enters a business address in LO and it comes down in the connector as email, but they already have an email in their RE record, I process it and accept the new email. Then process and go in to RE and change the email type to email business. Found out by doing this, it is deleting the email in LO because I changed the name. I have been doing this for two years and just found this out because I was sending a specific VIP email and notices 30 names had no email address in LO even though it was in their RE record. I put them back in LO and again they were deleted because they are business in RE.
We need the capability to use other email types without limiting us to one link to RE.
