Now that the system can hold credit card numbers and be charged at a later date for remaining balance on accounts, there are still a few tweaks to make so this is super user friendly.
1) All the reg fees to be separate than the fundraising amount. For events that use a 100% model, this is super important because the reg fees go to underwriting expenses, while all the fundraising dollars go straight to the beneficiary. There isn't currently a way to separate them.
2) Allow for the use of 100% discount codes. Typically discount codes are created for sponsors to waive their reg fees. The new DSP functionality wouldn't allow for the event to give out 100% off reg fee discount codes.
3) All for admin users to change the credit card number provided. The new DSP functionality doesn't allow for an admin use to do so. The reasons we would need to change the credit card number are because the credit card expired, the credit card was lost/stolen, the credit card was max'd or the participant wants to change the credit card on file for personal reasons.

Boston Children's Hospital would like this suggested change. We agree with all of the items above.
It would also be great if an admin could register a person on the back-end to a DSP enabled participation type
Boston Children's Hospital Trust, Make-A-Wish, and Obliteride (Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center) would also be interested in seeing these updates.
The 3 modifications outlined above are critically important to DFCI.
The 3 enhancements/tweaks outlined in this idea are critical to the ability of Cleveland Clinic/VeloSano to utilize the new DSP functionality.
JDRF would also like to see the ability to update a credit card if needed.
