that when a gift that has been solicited comes over from TeamRaiser to RaiserEdge, the gift is "soft credited" on the solicitor's gift page. In peer to peer fundraising all gifts are considered for recognition purposes, whether you made a personl donation or went out and got people to donate on your behalf. Not having these gifts added as soft credits reduces RaisersEdge capacity as a true CRM system.
This is useful because it gives us the option to look at the actual monetary value a constituent has brought to the organization, both in personal donation as well as in peer to peer fundraising. At the end of the year when we recognize volunteers we should be seeing what the donor has given and what they have gotten on our behalf.
