Recently, we created a survey designed to capture certain characteristics from our user base - and depending on those answers, users would be added to a security group and immediately gain access to a secured part of our website. To our avail, we learned that this was not an automated function. We need to go in and 'refresh' the responses in order for folks to gain access to that group. It would make the survey response groups more efficient if they were automatically added to their designated groups.

Please improve this feature. Having to automatically rebuild these groups almost renders this tool useless. If you plan on using the groups created by survey response for anything, you have to remember to go into that/those particular surveys and manually update. This is so easy to forget to do and just doesn't help work flow efficiency.
We were hoping to automatically provide users with conditional information based on their answers to certain questions, but that isn't (easily) possible.
I asked for this feature as well https://luminateonline.ideas.aha.io/ideas/LUM-I-495

Hi, I believe this is done because group rebuilds (just like when you are sending emails) is a server intensive process so if we have them constantly rebuilding after each form submission it would negatively affect performance. However, I've definitely heard before this need and use case so there may be another solution to the problem.
There might be a potential work-around using some combination of our conditionals, stags and session variables but it would be complicated. If you are interested in having our services team explore a possible solution for this just reach out to your CSM.
In the meantime, keeping this idea open so we can find a longer, easier solution to this use case.
