Gift date defaults to current system date when entering gifts manually into Luminate Online. Need ability to edit Gift Date. Just because it's the date the gift is being entered doesn't mean that's the same date listed on the check or the day of the event it was collected.

The ability to enter a gift date for offline transactions is critical in order to balance/reconcile with both our system of record, general ledger and bank statements. We're migrating from Kintera Sphere that included this important feature, I'm disappointed to find the option to enter gift date for offline transactions does not exist in LO. Please fix.
This is really causing issues for us. Our gift entry team does not (can not & will not) have the rights to import gifts. If the check is deposited on 2/28/17, but they don't get the information to enter it until 3/1/17, the date in LO is wrong and comes over to RE through the integration as such. We have to manually fix these or assign an extra task of importing all because there is no gift date field for offline gift entry. Please fix this ASAP!
New to Luminate. Can't believe this feature is not already added. Who thought it was a good idea to leave off the ability to specify a gift date when entering offline money? This will make it very difficult for us to reconcile transactions in Luminate with gifts in Raiser's Edge.
