The Email Preferences Page default has a lavender background, and the headers are in black on a dark grey background. (see attached) The headings are barely readable for young eyes, our older users and users with disabilities/color blindness can't read this at all. And like most things in Luminate, the body text isn't spaced properly, also affecting UX.
I'm new in this position, and so I thought I just inherited outdated design. However, I just got off a DM with the help desk, and was told although I can update the PageWrapper and the preference categories, there is nowhere I can actually update the page body style. No where I can just type #fffff and fix it myself.
Can you please change the Email Preferences Page so that the default design is simple and readable, just white background with black text, evenly spaced? It's the right thing to do to accommodate people with disabilities, it would really improve the user experience, and black and white works with everyone's branding. (Lavender clashes with all 8 of our approved brand colors.)
In an era where we're all fighting for inbox space and struggling to keep our email lists engaged, giving our users an easy way to customize their email preferences is crucial. If we can't get our email list cleaned up soon, we stand to lose a lot of money. When every $1 donated to us is turned into 4 meals for hungry people, every dollar matters. Thank you!
