Give Support the ability to log feature requests instead of requiring users to have to log into a separate interface

This would be helpful to provide a single channel for users to give feature requests suggestions when the response from support is that certain things are not possible / not available yet. The current feedback is to log into this portal to log a feature request. It would be simpler to give the feedback directly to support and they could have a simple way to log it.

    Hi, we on the product management team like to hear pain points and problems directly from our users' unfiltered voices as much as possible. Logging it through this portal also allows us to reach out directly for feedback or clarification when needed and idea submitters also get notifications when the idea gets moved into a planned release or shipped. 

    However, that being said, point taken that it could be a better user experience if we could retain the above features/functionality while allowing support/other employees to document what has already been explained so as to reduce redundant steps. Keeping this idea open for voting for that improvement. 

    We do appreciate the extra effort it takes to log your feedback and someone from our team does read ever idea that is submitted, usually within the same week.
