Package IDs disappear on display after xref, it's hard to keep track of which forms have been updated properly

I understand that LO has to be able to access the Appeal so it can read the Package IDs available, but it is tedious that I have to save the xref and then open it up again to apply the Package ID, however what is more confusing is that if I leave the web page and come back to review all the Forms I have xref’d the packages disappear from display on xref page until I open one and then save and go back and then they appear.
