I am using Participant Types to set maximum registration limits for our event in order to allow for safe social distancing (30 people can register for the In-Person start time of 9AM, 30 more for In-Person at 11AM, unlimited can register as Virtual participants, and then I have an "Undecided" option for now). I want participants to be able to register and start fundraising now, even if they're not sure yet whether or not they will want to participate virtually or in-person for an event that is months away (I don't want this tough decision to limit their time to fundraise). So, I'm allowing for an "Undecided" Participant Type option, and it would be really nice if participants could update their Participant Type through their own Participant Center as they feel they're able to determine their comfort level with in-person participation options down the road. I know participants can update other information that they provide during registration, so it would be nice if they could edit this selection, as well.
