Please fix bug 70246

Oftentimes when working within previously set up reports in report writer, I receive an error that "This address is not a functioning page on our site." This normally comes up when I am attempting to configure filters, and pull the same report for a different event, change the order of the filters, etc. According to support (Jes was VERY helpful in finding answers for me- thank you Jes!), the only way around this error is to re-create the entire report from scratch. Being a 13-event series, this is not acceptable. I will not be creating reports (times 13 for EACH report) if I want to configure filters on the fly. But there's no way around this bug, no matter how many times I refresh, go back a step and re-do, etc. Please consider fixing bug 70246.

    Thanks Ken,

Per support case 00605638, I was told to submit this to the idea portal, since there is no fix currently in the works for this bug; which is what I've done here. So it looks like support and the idea portal are each pointing me back to each other :)

    Thanks!
    Rachel

Hi Rachel, this portal is intended to be a hub for enhancements and new ideas. We track bugs in a completely different system so the best way to get this more visibility is to work with Support to make sure your org is added to that bug's affected list and to make sure they have the full impact to your org documented in the bug as well. We have weekly meetings with support to review bugs and put them in a priority order based on that information.

    Thanks,

    Ken

And apparently I was typing in a hurry... the title should be "Please FIX bug 70246." :)
