Upsell with personalization

It would be nice to have an option where an upsell has it's own questions, or that they'll get a special autoresponder.

We have an opportunity where people can fill out a short customization on their running bib. However, we can only let them purchase an upsell, but then no way to get their personalization from them unless we go out to them individually. It would be great if it can be part of the registration process.
