When a Constituent or Participant makes an online transaction or registers for an event and an error occurs on the transaction, the page should highlight the fields with the errors in red, instead of just a bar appearing at the top say “Error: There was a problem encountered while processing your transaction.”

The Components and Personalization screens need to be redesigned with a friendlier user-friendly interface.  It is quite confusing and lacks direct access to the coding most admins would use for an event.

In addition,  the system should know if the page will be used on a Blackbaud site, in an email, or a non-Blackbaud page and would adjust the coding for the user automatically.

Also, all S-codes and c-tags need to be available in the new interface with a brief and clear explanation and/or example of its usage.

Hi Frank, I'll be keeping this idea open for platform update but I wanted to make sure you knew that highlighting the error input fields is doable with some CSS (and maybe a conditional or little javascript). Contact your CSM if you are interested in having our services team help you implement it.

    Thanks for the feedback!
