Memberships associated with donations configured under step 2b are dropped/lost when a donation form/campaign is copied. It's the only component that doesn't copy over. It's just random and doesn't seem logical.

When a donor chooses to skip a recurring payment, please allow us to send them an autoresponder confirming they are skipping a date and will resume on the following date.
