Ability to change a soft credit in Team Raiser>Event Gifts

Having the ability to go to Team Raiser>Event Gifts>Find a gift that was not an event gift and then move/soft credit it from there. Currently we have to write the donor down, go to Constituent 360, find them, go to transactions, click change soft credit and then hunt for the participant it should have gone too. This would be much easier and better use of time if you could move it when you see it in the Event Gifts area.
