When a constituent is creating a personal fundraising page, say, for tributes. We do not have an option to allow them to choose whether or not they want a goal, we can suggest one but that's it. They also are unable to choose whether or not they should have a thermometer. We would like to have the option to enable the choice for them to do this.
What we're asking for is this:
Case 1:
User signs up for In Memory to create personal fundraising page. User is asked:
"Would you like to set up an fund goal?: No / Yes" (charity should be allowed to word this how they'd like)
a -> User selects No, continue to step e.
b -> User selects Yes, continue to step b.1
b.1 -> the Charity provides a suggested amount: $500 (like we currently can), user can change that to any amount they want.
b.2 -> User is then asked "Would you like to use a thermometer to track progress?" (pop up link/dropdown available to explain what the thermometer is and how it shows progress towards achieving goal)
c -> User says yes, continue to step e
d -> User says no, continue continue to step e
e -> user completes other steps as normal
f -> user's personal page is now live.
Case 2:
Organization is setting up a TeamRaiser, they have the option to ENABLE feature to allow participants to choose whether or not they can have a goal and thermometer.
a. Organization chooses to disable feature, and set a suggested goal for participants to reach (how it currently is)
b. Organization chooses to enable feature, and give participants flexibility.
We feel that this gives users a choice, if they want to hit a goal, and if they want a progress bar, and organizations more flexibility when it comes to various types of TeamRaisers.
Thanks
