If you are in a one day campaign, like Giving Tuesday, being able to easily drill down into the stats by a particular Date and/or Time would allow you to track easily that an email was sent out at this time, or a social media message was posted at this time, and through out the day it garnered donations at this time, this time and this time; or, if on-air via Radio or Television, matching messaging with outcome: "We asked for 10 $30/month donations during the 10am - 10:15am break, and we received 15 one-time $120 gifts"
