It would be beneficial to be able to update information on Tax Receipts. This could include typos to names and addresses, incorrect information inputted, etc. Currently there is no way to do this within the system, so if a donor has accidentally misspelled pieces of their information, the tax receipt is incorrect and can't be changed without processing a refund and having them remake the donation.
This is often problematic as people contact us around tax time annually to get the receipt fixed because they see this as a simple process. The money from the event the previous year has already been spent, so it's not possible to provide a refund. Also making someone redo a donation is too great a risk that they won't remake the donation.
Simple information changes should be allowed.
