As I mentioned yesterday, I use this functionality for every email relating to seminars and supports groups that I send from Kintera Sphere. So far this year, I’ve sent 15 emails and each email requires 2 different queries: 1 all constituents within 60-mile radius of event who have email address 2) all lupus patients within 45-mile radius of event who do not have email address As you can imagine, if I had to determine all of the individual zip codes and then add all of those individually to a zip code query in Luminate, that would be an extremely time-consuming effort. For example, I just used a zip code tool to search for zip codes within a 50-mile radius (options are limited) and it came up with 100 (results are limited to 100).

Ken, so as an admin for our Lupus Foundation of America, Indiana Chapter Center can I use this functionality now? If so, is there a resource available that documents how to use?

Hey Debbie, this feature has been fully rolled out in Luminate Beta now. It unfortunately doesn't include multi-center support yet so it only will be visible for admins who have access to all constituent records and access to the query tool in Luminate Online. We are waiting on the new version of multicenter to be available and then we will be able to open it up for everyone. Stay tuned to the quarterly roadmap for updates on when we will be able to open this up for all. In the meantime admins who can access it can create groups based on and radius updates and put those in a specific center's security category for use by a center.
Thanks,
Ken
Ken, any updates on when we'll be able to start using this functionality?
That TOTALLY rocks.
This feature is planned to start rolling out in the next month. Look for it in Luminate Beta soon!
