Per bug # 70658, regarding sending plain text email reviews to self or other reviewers - please reinstate the checkbox option to send a plain text review email in Email Campaigns (step 6). I shouldn't have to change my own Outlook options for *every* email I receive just to occasionally review my test emails in plain text. That's just plain wrong!

There was an extremely small line about this in the Resolved Issues in 15.9.5 release notes: Note: Preview email messages now send as both HTML and Plain Text in the same message in Email Campaigns, Blueprints, and TeamRaiser Coaching emails. As a result, the Send text email only option was removed in Email Campaigns, Blueprints, and TeamRaiser Coaching email. Use email viewers to switch between HTML and Plain Text to review each rendering.
A pretty big change to be not communicated well.
I have a case open and that is how I found out about the above. Also, the HTML version of the e-mail is supposed to be auto-converted to plain-text. This is not happening. You still need to put in your own plain-text version to render correctly.
I was wondering where this went. I used it frequently.
This is an essential part of email testing and the functionality should be reinstated as soon as possible.
As an additional argument - the message appearance is NOT the same in Thunderbird after changing the program to display the message body as 'plain text'. Doing this disables the display cleanup that Thunderbird normally applies to text emails such as marking commented text attractively.
Agreed. We have users who used this feature regularly and are missing it now. Please put the button back!
