Fix the Donation Form so when a donor selects the "Other" donation amount, they can't select the Premium Unless it's the right level/amount

Right now, we have our Fall Fundraiser. If you donate $10/month or a one time donation of $120 or more, you can select a premium. We have suggested donation levels for one time gifts, and if a donor selects $72, they do not have the option to select the premium. If they select $120 or higher they do. But if they select the "Other" option, and enter in a $50 gift, they can select the Premium. We do say "It's offered at $10/month or $120 or more," but it would be nice if this "other" option would only be available if its a custom amount over $120. I did talk to support and they indicated it is a "known bug", it's been that way for over two years for us.

    Hey Whitney,

An alternative I've seen used in the past is to have separate one-time forms from recurring forms. For the recurring forms you'd set the recurring behavior at each donation level and then you could associate the premium with that level. Then you link both forms back between each other with some language like "prefer to make a one-time gift, click here" in the content area above the form and do the same thing with the other form. The org I worked with drove clients to the recurring form first and saw improved success with their campaigns.

Just offering this as an alternative until we work this out in the product.

    Thanks,

    Ken
