We reach out to participants on a number of different levels, including acknowledging when they've changed their goal (up - way to go!; down - confirming that realistic goals are important).

I think any information that can provide us insight into participant behaviors, thinking and engagement can be helpful and would welcome seeing a goal change (perhaps like the 'personal page last updated' field) column available for reports.
