So currently if you are using designated giving on a donation form you have the option of assigning a single designation to a form which precludes you from using the Gift Designation Elements in the form configuration screen.
If however you use the Single Gift Designation element for instance, you can configure which designations you would like to include in your form. I however have two issues with this.
When the part renders on the front end of the website you are provided with two radio buttons.
My issue is that I am unable to define what the designation will be for "where it is needed most". So any reports generated by LO will have not designation details in that column. I am unclear on how RE/LO will map this information. Will the user selected designation overwrite the RE Fund selected in step six "Configure Cross Reference" of the form configuration?
When configuring the specific designations I would like available in the Single Gift Designation element, I am prompted with the ability to configure the order in which I want the designations displayed by TYPE but not by individual designations. So if I want to force a display order of designations within a Type, I have to resort to prefixing their labels with numbers which is not ideal.
