Highlight what specific images exceed maximum size of 1 MB in the new email experience

Recently, we tried to send an email in the new Luminate email experience (the drag-and-drop editor). However, we received an error message that states, "One or more images exceed the maximum size of 1 MB. Resize or select other images to continue."

Our issue is we have no way of knowing which is the offending image because Luminate doesn't say which one is causing the problem. We send several newsletters with roughly a dozen images and graphics.

Additionally, the Image Library does NOT show the file size of an image, so even if we tried to manually search for every single image in a newsletter, it's impossible to find out which image is too big.

Furthermore, Luminate allows you to upload or add pre-existing large images directly into an email without flagging that the image is too big. Why is this even possible?

I was forced to tediously look up the pixel dimensions of every single image in an email and make an educated guess that one of them was too big and hope that re-uploading a resized version wouldn't trigger the system.

There has to be a faster way of highlighting the too-big image. Or maybe a setting to restrict us from uploading images that are too big, or to prevent us from adding oversize images into an email beforehand.
