So far...just a week after sending our 760 recurring donor receipts and still several weeks from Canadian tax deadline when donors really start looking for their receipts...over 10% of the donors have responded saying they either can't figure out how to retrieve or won't even click on a link in our email (fear of virus) to retrieve their tax receipt. We are spending a great deal of time responding to upset/annoyed/fearful donors and apologizing for not just sending them a PDF of their tax receipt. And then we are downloading the receipt for them and doing just that...sending it as a PDF which is what they want. I appreciate that the system "wasn't built to do this", but we need to have this in place for next year...even if that means we generate them and then manually download every single one and manually email it to our donors. Can you not find a way to make this happen directly from the system?
