Currently LO matches on email and if email is not present it matches on first name and last name. In both cases, if there are multiple records found, the oldest record is used. We would like finer grained controls over the matching on a system level, donation form level, and API level. Possibly add the ability to choose fields to match on at the system level, with overrides when creating a donation form or making an API call.
