Very often it is discovered that a record should not be solicited for a gift after the effort segment is imported to LCRM. Especially considering how much lead time is needed for data and mailshop processing. Maybe you want to provide a last minute suppression file of recent contributors to your mailshop, etc. You'll want to remove the effort segment codes from the LCRM records so that when you are calculating results the number solicited is accurate.
