Public Event Type changes when you change Event Type

The Public Event Type field is directly tied to the Primary Event Type field. To create 13 public event type options in a situation where I have 3 primary event type choices, I had to set up 39 values. If I set Public Event Type to "One Walk" prior to changing Event Type to "Walk", I have to reset it to "One Walk" again afterward. Public Event Type should not be directly tied to the Primary Event Type value. We have run into issues where the event landing page and wrapper shows the wrong content because of this issue with the public event type.
