Allow clients to upload a new image via a mac using chrome in your cms!

I normally use chrome for CMS edits/updates until I have to upload an image or a file. Firefox on Mac is the only browser that allows me to do this. Please fix!

Oh, and (sorry I forgot to mention) - I'm specifically talking about the email module, not Pagebuilder.

John, thanks for your reply. I am actually on Windows (the OP was posting about this issue on Macs way back in 2016, and I joined in just in April this year to say it's true in Chrome on Windows as well).

I've just checked my Chrome (which is up to date) again, and find it's still true I cannot click on/edit/work with images in any way in the WYSIWYG there.

However, our other tool did fix their issue in Firefox very quickly, so I can still do my work there in both LO and the other tool and not have to switch. I've given up worrying about using LO in Chrome any more.

    Thanks!

    Gurukarm -

I tested with the most recent version of Chrome on the Mac and was able to upload an image into the WYSIWYG on a pagebuilder page. We made some bug fixes around this earlier in the year - would you mind trying to see if we've resolved this? Is it possible I am uploading in a different place than you are (I used the image icon, then clicked "browse image library" then clicked "add new image".

    Thanks!

    John

This is not only a Mac issue, it's been true on Windows as well for at least 2 or more years now. Not possible to add/edit images in the WYSIWYG in Chrome in Luminate Online. Because of this I switched to Firefox, but now another tool I have to use no longer works in Firefox and so I have to switch back and forth between browsers ALL THE DAMN TIME. Not cool, folks. Not cool at all.
