Move the preview text for your emails OUTSIDE of the stationery.

It's impractical to have to make a custom stationery for every email you send, but the way that the stationery templates are setup, require you to include your email preview text inside of this stationery. It's rare for email marketers to use the same preview text for multiple emails, so you end up having to create new stationery templates for each of your emails.

I imagine the thought behind having the stationery is to standardized look and feel across all emails, and to eliminate the need for your email builders to recreate these pieces every time.

Please fix this!

Another option I’m thinking, would be to ask for a header to be reclassed or designated for preview text, so for instance if we put the preview text in the email with a <h6></h6> tag and only ever used h6 for preview text, I bet it could be coded to pull in to the stationery? We’d just have that text always in white so it’s invisible to people, or put it at the very bottom of the message.

Under step 2. Envelope, when you’re setting up the message, add in a field for “Preview test” under “Subject Line” and just hard code it there.

Either way, moving it outside of the stationery would be a huge help.
