We have addressed this in the fix for Bug 60856, which will ship as a part of the Luminate Online 15.4 release. Now, adding a thumbnail image will properly add the Facebook Open Graph Syntax to the page wrapper ensuring it is used when shared. Adding additional fields (i.e. title, description, and updated time) will be evaluated for a future release.
