When we are redoing our event site each year we tend to build up an array of cases. To help keep track of the active ones could be made easier by allowing the user to filter the case list by status. Currently there's only a "Recent Items" list. Maybe put a multi-select drown down list for the status(es) you'd like to see in the list.
