Allow processing of credit card transactions through processor to bypass Luminate

We had a situation recently where we needed to charge a credit card outside of Luminate and enter the transaction in Convio manually due to the unorthodox way in which the donor requested the gift be processed (see case 541370). However, upon contacting our processor (IATS) we were told that Convio integration does not allow you to process transactions through the process without going through the Luminate interface. This is a change from our old system. I do not see why Luminate integration should limit our agreement with our credit card processor. There are situations where this comes up from time to time - a situation where it is easier to do things offline and the system is not flexible enough to handle it. We do not believe Luminate should have this much control over the credit card processor.
