Duplicate Management

Would be great to have the ability to segment duplicates based on application type and creation date in the "Resolve New Registrations" Tab. We have certain rules on choosing the master record based on how the record entered the system and it's creation date. The ability to segment duplicate records will better help us breakdown and tackle the load while already working in the system instead of exporting an operation then working from a very large list. Automatic Duplicate Management is not suitable for us because of how our data has to be handled, so duplicate management has to be a manual effort annually across a few groups.  Best, Narlene Scott

My suggestion would be to add an additional button called Merge that allows you to then proceed to the Constituent Duplication screen from the taskbar window where you can at least determine which record to merge into.  It would be great to also have this feature available within RE because sometimes you want to immediately make the decision to merge after you have originally hit the save button.  I would love to hear more about this possibility and be included in the beta testing process.

    All the best,

We also can't use the auto-merge feature because of one major issue we have:  when merging records we want the master record to be assigned the OLDEST creation date -- no matter which becomes the master record.  Creation date is very important to us -- so not applying the oldest date to merged records is a BIG drawback.
